Disney Plus is adding both Ewok movies, the Ewoks animated series, and Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars Micro-Series in April
The Ewoks are taking over Disney Plus!
It has been announced that on April 2nd, 2021, the Clone Wars Micro-Series created by the cartoon guru Gendy Tartakovsky will be added to Disney+. This is exciting news as I loved this cartoon as a child and it sedated my Star Wars thirst in between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
YUB NUB!
Also, a huge surprise is attached to this. The 1980’s Ewok live-action movies Caravan Of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, and Ewoks Battle For Endor will both be released on the same day. Alongside both seasons of the hit animated series Star Wars: Ewoks. MANY fans have only heard about these things as they were developed in the 80’s and generally determined to be, well….. bantha poodoo. Yet this is 2021, where vinyl is back and many old things re-examined by a fresh set of eyes in a new generation, can perhaps see something that was not there before.
And if that isn’t enough to have you dancing around the campfire like an Ewok during the Festival of Love; the streamer will also release the animated portion of the Star Wars: Holiday Special – The Story of the Faithful Wookie.
FLASHBACK
I am very curious to see what these things are like. Until now, I have only heard stories and snippets of information from Wookieepedia. Maybe they are better than we think. Disney+ is Disney’s streaming service that launched in November 2019. It continues to create exclusive new content like The Mandalorian and WandaVision and its library grows every day.
