Emilia Clarke is in final negotiations to join Marvel’s Secret Invasion. After yesterday’s report that Olivia Coleman was in talks to join the series; Variety reports that the Game Of Thrones alumni could soon be joining her.
As is always the case, Marvel Studios is keeping her role under wraps, but with the likes of Coleman, and now Clarke potentially joining the cast; Secret Invasion is quickly becoming essential viewing. Should Emilia Clarke be confirmed, she will join Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Kingsley Ben-Adir in the MCU. The Disney Plus series will find Jackson and his Captain Marvel co-star Mendelsohn reprising their MCU characters Nick Fury and Talos.

Marvel Studios are keeping their cards pretty close to the chest on this one. And representatives from both Marvel and Clarke have refused to comment on the casting. But with filming slated to get underway soon, surely it’s only a matter of time before we learn more about the series.
As for the creative minds behind the series, Kyle Bradstreet, who worked on the critically acclaimed series Mr. Robot, will be writing and executing producing the project. And rumor has it, the series will be filming in various locations across the UK and Europe.
