Lucasfilm procures the services of Thomas Kretschmann for Harrison Ford’s final Indiana Jones adventure
After the recent appointments of Phoebe-Waller Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen; we are hearing that Thomas Kretschmann has boarded Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones 5. The German-born actor has been a Hollywood staple in recent years; with memorable performances in Peter Jackson’s King Kong. And perhaps more notably, as Baron Strucker in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Naturally, Lucasfilm is keeping the nature of Kretschmann’s role under wraps for the time being. Although that’s understandable nowadays. But with the aforementioned Waller-Bridge and Mikkelsen already confirmed and Kretschmann adding his acting prowess; Harrison Ford’s final adventure is finally taking shape.

STEVEN SPIELBERG
Although Steven Spielberg is handing over the directorial reins to James Mangold (Logan); the legendary director will be on hand to oversee proceedings in his new role as producer. John Williams, who has composed the score of EVERY entry in the franchise will return to add his symphonic brilliance to proceedings;Â and ensure Harrison Ford’s legendary archeologist goes out on a high note!
Indiana Jones continues the search for fortune and glory on July 29, 2022.
