Regal Robot bring their brilliance to Star Wars Day with the release of their incredible Holochess Replica to celebrate May the 4th
Regal Robot are back to top off our Star Wars Day celebrations with their traditional brilliance.
Any ‘Star Wars‘ fan worth their salt will believe the ‘Holochess’ sequence in the original film is an all-time classic. It was once again featured in the sequel trilogy. But nothing can compare to that fantastic first look back in 1977. Those creatures moving about the rounded table, the battle of wits between R2-D2 and Chewbacca, the result. All add up to a wonderful and quite enjoyable minute of footage, one that still brings joy today.
STAR WARS DAY
To commemorate Star Wars Day (May 4th), Regal Robot has released not only a replica of the table itself but prop replicas of the creatures themselves. These extremely exquisite and delightful prop replicas are limited to 77 sets of ten hand-painted, static resin replicas. They are 1:1 scale to the props. And have lineage to the original puppets. The set also includes Scrimp and Bulbous, two characters who were originally created for the original film but were not used. They did make an appearance in the standalone film ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story‘ however.

PRICING
The set costs $4,799.00. But the quality of these pieces cannot be underestimated. They are, quite simply, beautiful. And a collector’s dream. Thankfully, there is a payment plan option so the cost can be spread.
If however, the set is a bit too rich for your blood, there is an alternative. There are four limited editions two packs that are also available. These included the legendary ‘Body Slam’ set. These sets, however, are only available to order between May 4th to June 18th. After this date, the editions will be closed and capped.
