Injustice Gods Among Us Movie Coming From Warner Bros. Animation

The classic Injustice Gods Among Us DC video game will be the next direct-to-video movie adaptation from Warner Bros. Animation

Injustice Gods Among Us has been announced as the next project from Warner Bros Animation. The popular video game will be adapted into a feature-length animated movie for the very first time. And what’s more, the debut trailer for the movie will be a special feature on the upcoming release of Batman: The Long Halloween Part II.

FALLEN HERO

In the video game, a parallel DC Multiverse is the setting for a deranged Superman to take over the world. After being tricked into murdering his beloved Lois Lane and destroying Metropolis, the Man Of Steel slips into madness and imposes his rule over Earth’s population. In an attempt to restore freedom to the human race, Batman calls upon superheroes from across the Multiverse to join his resistance.

The game was highly regarded by fans and critics alike and went on to win several awards. It also generated a successful comic strip and an equally popular sequel that featured heroes from other franchises. Including Teenage Mutant  Ninja Turtles, Hellboy, and Mortal Kombat.

However, the original game featured Batman: The Animated Series star Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight. So fans will be hoping to see his name on the cast list. As well as the inclusion of the legendary Mark Hamill reprising his role as The Joker. But only time will tell.

We’ll update the site as soon as more information comes to light. But in the meantime, fans can look forward to a feature-length adaptation of one of the finest DC games ever created. And that is a tantalizing prospect.
