Holy first look, Batman! Andy Muschietti has treated us to our first look at Michael Keaton’s Bat Symbol from The Flash
Holy first look, Batman! With all the amazing DC content heading our way over the next few years, DC fans are spoilt for choice. Whether it’s The Batman, Shazam: Fury Of The Gods, The Suicide Squad, or even Black Adam; every DC fan has something to look forward to. However, the movie at the top of most fans’ wishlist is The Flash.
Andy Muschietti’s DC blockbuster has the makings of an absolute blockbuster. Boasting the return of Ben Affleck alone is noteworthy enough. But when you throw in the return of Michael Keaton as Batman, our excitement levels get dialed to eleven.
FIRST LOOK
Not to be outdone by yesterday’s first look at Zachary Levi’s new costume in Shazam: Fury of the Gods, Andy Muschietti has set the internet ablaze. On Friday, the visionary director took to Instagram to reveal our first look at Michael Keaton’s iconic Bat Symbol from The Flash. And boy, it is a breathtaking sight. However, what becomes all the more apparent is the bloodstain splattered across its blissful contours. Check it out:
ON LOCATION
We recently published images of the original Wayne Manor from Tim Burton’s Batman, which is being revisited in The Flash. And with filming there all but complete, the production is rumored to be moving to Scotland by the end of June. As mentioned above, the first images of Zachary Levi’s new Shazam suit have already hit the wires, so we should expect to see more from the set of The Flash anytime now. But this feels like Muschietti giving us a taste of what awaits us when the first images are revealed for all to see.
All will be revealed soon. Until then we are left to ponder what the blood splatter means. And when we will finally see Keaton back in costume for the first time since 1992.
Andy Muschietti…you’re a big tease. And we love it!
