With just weeks until the release of Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, the studio has shared a glorious new poster
Marvel Studios has shared a glorious new poster for Black Widow. Natasha Romanoff’s solo adventure is just days away from hitting screens around the world; but that hasn’t stopped the studio from pouring more fuel into the hype train.
The glorious new poster features Scarlett Johansson’s super-spy surrounded by a wealth of new characters. From Red Guardian to the infamous Taskmaster, every character is large and in charge. Check it out below:
This poster is pure Marvel gloriousness, and although this will be Johansson’s farewell appearance as the character, we can all finally look forward to some sensational Marvel action in July. The film will see Johansson hand the baton over to Florence Pugh who portrays Yelena. Red Guardian will also make an appearance in the film. As will the iconic Marvel villain Taskmaster.
CAST
Alongside Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz plays Melina, David Harbour plays Red Guardian, William Hurt returns as Thaddeus Ross, and Ray Winston as Dreykov, the head of The Red Room. And, of course, there is the cameo appearance from Robert Downey Jr in what will probably be his final appearance in the MCU as Tony Stark/ Iron Man.
SCORE
In a surprising move, composer Lorne Balfe has signed on to compose the soundtrack for the film. The Hollywood veteran has produced scores for the Terminator and Mission Impossible franchises. But this represents his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Will he be up to the task? We will soon find out in just a few weeks!
‘Black Widow‘ opens in theatres and on Disney Premier Access on July 9th.
