Loki has delivered so many wonderful moments. Many of which WE PREDICTED! We hate to say we told you so. But…
Loki has shocked me to my core with its fourth episode that perfectly balances emotion and jaw-dropping plot twists. But it is that mid-credits scene that took my brain and caused it to explode.
At the end of that episode, we see Loki and Sylvie together. Loki is overcome with affection for Sylvie and is about to tell her something when Ravonna Renslayer decides to ruin the moment and prunes Loki! If that isn’t shocking enough the mid-credits scene reveals that Loki did not exactly die but was transported to another world where he is confronted by not one, not two, but what appears to be four different variants of Loki.
Yes, you heard correctly! Four variants of Loki; a black Loki who wields a hammer (is he worthy?), Kid Loki, Classic Loki (portrayed by Richard E. Grant), and what appears to be Crocodile Loki. It was a shocking conclusion that leaves a lot to the imagination for the next two episodes. But what makes me even more excited is that I actually predicted this would happen.
On May 27, I wrote a post sharing “My Three Loki Predictions” and my third prediction was that yes, this series would feature several versions of our favorite God of Mischief. Sure enough, it came true and I couldn’t be happier.
