Look out TVA! Tom Hiddleston‘s God of Mischief will return in Loki Season 2 for Disney Plus.
The season finale of Loki changed the dynamics of the MCU forever. With multiple timelines erupting into chaos and hinting at all-out war; the Multiverse needs all the help it can get. But thankfully, the God of Mischief is more than ready to meet the challenge.
Although WandaVision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier were a case of one and done; Marvel suggested early on that Loki would need more than a single season to flesh out his story. And thanks to the mid-credits stinger – we now have official confirmation.
SEASON 2
Yes, Loki is returning for a second season. Thank you Marvel Studios! However, aside from the reveal, very little is known about the direction of season 2. And without going into spoilers, in the wake of the season one finale, there is a ton of chaos to unravel. Of course, these events will have a major impact on the future of the MCU, especially Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. And reports are already leaking out from various sources that Tom Hiddleston will be making an appearance in Benedict Cumberbatch’s hotly-anticipated sequel. Such is the extent of anarchy erupting across the Multiverse!

Loki’s renewal is a testament to the quality of content being released by Marvel Studios just now. Only yesterday, WandaVision scored 23 Emmy nominations including Best Limited Series, and acting nominations for Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Kathryn Hahn. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier secured 6 Emmy nominations.
Marvel’s next Disney Plus show will be the animated series What If…? on August 11, 2021. Then it’s the small matter of Hawkeye later in the year! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Heading our way over the next few years will be She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Iron Heart, Secret Invasion, and Wakanda! What an amazing time to be a Marvel fan!
