Vesemir faces his demons in this stunning new trailer for Netflix’s The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf
Netflix has unleashed a new full-length trailer for The Witcher prequel series The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf. The all-new anime movie follows the adventures of Geralt Of Rivia‘s mentor, Vesemir. The events of the series will serve as an origin story, centering on a daring young Witcher; who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters and loot his victims.

But when a stage new monster threatens one of the many kingdoms of the Witcher universe, Vesemir finds himself on a quest that will see him confronting the demons of his past. Check out the new trailer below:
TALENTS
Nightmare of the Wolf is directed by Studio Mir’s Kwang Il Han and has been written and produced by Beau DeMayo. The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich also serves as a producer on the project. The impressive voice cast features the talents of Theo James, Lara Pulver, and Mary McDonnell.

As of press time, there is no word on whether Henry Cavill’s Geralt Of Rivia will be making an animated appearance. But with The Witcher Season 2 releasing this Christmas, I’d say it’s a safe bet. Are you excited about this anime prequel story? Leave a comment below. Or catch us on Twitter.
