Free! unveils new standees for The Final Stroke Part 1 and reveals a new promotional campaign!
Even though the countdown on Twitter started for a new trailer, it ended up being for new details concerning the movie. And today is finally the day. The new details include the announcement of a collaboration cafe, new standees and a new promotional campaign!
The standees feature the full art of each character from the countdown. You can find them in Japanese cinemas. Natsuya and Nao not being present on these may indicate a smaller role, at least for Part 1.
As for the promotional campaign, it’s new mubichike cards that come with postcards from previous entries of the franchise. The mubichike cards are available in Japanese cinemas and online ticket sellers. It’s card that contain a movie ticket to see The Final Stroke Part 1 and these postcards. Each character comes with 8 postcards. There is Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa, Rei, Rin, Ikuya, Asahi and Sousuke. This new campaign starts on August 27. It will end when all the cards are sold out, which happens very quickly.
Free! The Final Stroke Part 1 releases in Japan on September 17. We will keep you updated once there is an international release date.
