The force is strong with this one. Lucasfilm Games has announced that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will release on April 5, 2022
Today, Lucasfilm Games has finally announced a release date for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The hotly anticipated game has been delayed multiple times due to the pandemic, but at long last, we have been rewarded with a definite release date. And surprisingly, the game will be hitting the shelves on April 5th.
STAR WARS DAY
After so many lengthy delays, one can be forgiven for thinking that Lucasfilm would be tempted to hold the game back to release on May 4th (AKA Stra Wars Day). But instead, the studio has opted to release the game a full month in advance. Which will be music to the ears of fans everywhere. But the fun doesn’t end there. Because they also dropped an all-new gameplay trailer which gives us a taste of what we can expect when the bricks hit the fan. Check it out below:
THE GAME
Coming to the Xbox One family of devices, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga allows fans to play through all nine Episodes of the core saga, travel through hyperspace and explore over 20 unlockable planets, and experience an exciting mix of gameplay, from chaining attacks in lightsaber combat to space battles. Players can also unlock and choose from over 300 characters, the most ever in a LEGO Star Wars game.
