Today is the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett! Time has flown by way too fast. So is this a fitting finale for this amazing series?

WAR ON THE STREETS

This episode is the most action-packed live-action Star Wars episode we got so far! It delivers exactly what it promised – a war in the streets of Mos Espa against the Pykes. Each of the main players in Boba’s team gets their moment. And there are even some great surprises! There are a lot of moments when I cheered out loud.

And good thing, it’s actually the longest live-action episode as well. So we get one hour of pure awesomeness. Robert Rodriguez sure knows how to direct action scenes. He did a fantastic job. I’ll say it again the Mando-Verse is the gift that keeps on giving.

When Cad Bane made his live-action debut last week, all I could think about is what is going to happen in this episode with him! Indeed, there is an unfinished arc from The Clone Wars with him and Boba Fett. So, they have a history and this episode references it. You can’t have Cad Bane and Boba Fett in the same series and not have them seeing each other. I do hope, we will see the unfinished arc from The Clone Wars completed one day so we can see what they referenced!

Don’t forget to watch the credits, as there is a scene and this one made me so happy!

VISUALS

We all know that the Mando-Verse is using the Volume, which projects the background in real-time instead of using a lot of green screens. (They still use green/blue screen but less than usual). It gives better results. And from the beginning, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett have been visually impressive. But, for this episode, they have raised the bar even higher. This is a big war with colossal action sequences and they nailed visually. Well done to the ILM team!
