By the Gods! Pegasus, the last of the winged horses from Clash Of The Titans is coming to X-Plus Collectibles” Ray Harryhausen centenary collection. The impressive-looking 1/6 scale statue joins the previously released Kraken and Bubo from Ray’s final big-screen adventure and will shoot straight to the top of every fan’s wishlist.
Pegasus stands at an impressive 12.5″ tall and features detachable wings, a saddle, and a display base. But making this statue all the more impressive is the option of a deluxe edition. The standard release comes as detailed. However, the deluxe variant boasts the added severed head of Medusa carried by the talons of Bubo. From Star Ace Toys. Ray Harryhausen was frequently called on to re-create creatures from ancient mythology. Pegasus was a creation of the gods, a horse with the ability to fly with large eagle-like wings. Star Ace has brought Pegasus to life in a 1/6 scale polyresin statue with detachable wings. Posed as if striding through the air, Pegasus is sculpted by the renowned artisans at Kaibutsuya, each piece meticulously hand-painted. Pegasus ships with a polyresin display base with a nameplate.

You have to hand it to Star Ace Toys and X-Plus Collectibles, they certainly know how to craft an impressive statue. And thankfully, we won’t have to pray to the gods to get our hands on it. The Standard Edition is priced at a reasonable $288.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $354.99. Moreover, the wait won’t be too arduous either, the statue will release in July, meaning Pegasus will be flying onto your mantle in a matter of months. Kudos Star Ace/X-Plus. Splendid work!
