A SCORE TO SETTLE

Giacchino’s scores to date have been nothing short of spectacular. His approach for Jurassic World harnessed the best of John Williams’ masterwork and gave many of his iconic themes a contemporary polish. And his score for Fallen Kingdom expanded on those new themes and delivered a soundtrack worthy of the series. But now, the composer has a new challenge ahead of him. And that is to bookend the series while composing a score suitable enough to culminate the franchise. But now, thanks to an early release by Universal, fans can get their first taste of what he has in store.

Titled “Da Plan And Da Cycle” the first track thrusts us straight into the action. It features a robust new theme that is sure to get your pulse racing and climaxes with a blast of Giacchino’s instantly recognizable theme from Jurassic World. But don’t take my word for it, hold onto your butts and press play!

And just when you thought the news couldn’t get any better, Universal has confirmed that the soundtrack album will release in its entirety on June 10. On the same day, the Giganotosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus will unleash their dino fury on theatres. So, get ready because next week is going to be incredible.
