
The SDCC exclusive poster for Dan Trachtenberg’s PREY finds the new Predator on a collision course with its quarry
We are less than two weeks away from Dan Trachtenberg’s PREY and the movie received its world premiere at SDCC. After receiving a standing ovation from the crowd and the overwhelmingly positive reactions hit social media, those in attendance were treated to a SDCC exclusive poster. The glorious one-sheet features the new Predator scaled to the size of a mountain. However, leaping from the adjacent precipice with a tomahawk in hand is Amber Midthunder’s Comanche warrior Naru. Thankfully, the poster has been made available to the press, and we are delighted to share it with our amazing readers. Check out the poster below.

You’ve got to hand it to the marketing team at 20th Century Studios. they are knocking these posters out of the park. The recent Disney Plus UK poster revealed our best look at the Predator yet. And this week’s Hulu poster showcased the hunter’s lethal new arsenal. But now, the SDCC exclusive poster arrives to set the tone perfectly. And with so many fans hailing PREY as the best Predator movie since the original, we could be in line for a very special night in when the movie drops on Hulu/Disney Plus on August 5th.
SYNOPSIS
The newest entry in the “Predator” franchise, 20th Century Studios’ “Prey” is an all-new action- thriller set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago. It is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior who has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains. So when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

John Davis produced Prey with Marty Ewing and Jhane Myers, who is a Native Comanche. Lawrence Gordon, Ben Rosenblatt, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Marc Toberoff served as executive producers.
Amber Midthunder (Roswell, New Mexico) stars alongside Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home); Julian Black Antelope (Tribal), Cody Big Tobacco (The Revenant), Skye Pelletier (Burden of Truth); Tymon Carter (The Emigrants), and Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (Shoresy). With Dane DiLiegro (American Horror Stories), joining the cast as the new Predator.
The hunt begins when Dan Trachtenberg’s PREY stalks its way onto Hulu and Disney Plus on August 5th.
