Nick Fury is our last hope in the ultimate fight for the planet in Marvel Studios’ SECRET INVASION streaming in 2023
As expected, Marvel Studios is blowing the roof off the D23 Expo this year. After debuting new footage of Werewolf By Night, The Marvels, and Ant-Man And The Wasp Quantumania, the studio blew the roof off the Convention Center by dropping the first trailer for SECRET INVASION.
The hotly anticipated upcoming series features Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury who returns to earth to uncover an insidious plot to invade the planet. But upon his return, he soon discovers that he may already be too late because The Skrulls have already infiltrated the governing hierarchy and assumed the positions of many of the world’s power players. Which begs the question…who can he trust? Check out the trailer below.
ARMOR WARS
During the D23 presentation, it was revealed that Secret Invasion will lead directly into Marvel’s next tentpole series Armor Wars. That series will feature the return of Colonel James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle) who also features in Secret Invasion and will play a key role in both series. Which is more than enough to excite the Iron Man fans among us.
CAST & CREW
As well as the retuning Samuel L. Jackson, Secret Invasion stars Cobie Smulders,Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Christopher McDonald, Carmen Ejogo, and Killian Scott. The six-episode limited series has been written/produced by Kyle Bradstreet under the direction of Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim and will stream exclusively on Disney Plus sometime in 2023.
