Tim Burton's Batman (1989) Gets A Fresh New Trailer

Warner Bros has released a fresh new recut trailer for Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson

With Michael Keaton slipping back into the batsuit in The Flash this summer, DC fans have plenty to look forward to. Keaton’s return has been well over three decades in the making, and eager to ramp up the excitement, Warner Bros has recut the trailer for Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie with a modern twist.

Batman (1989) Joker

The new trailer really ramps up the excitement and the nostalgia. And if you were wondering if the movie would still have the same impact if it was released today…then wonder no longer. The new trailer is spectacular and effortlessly highlights the rivalry between the Dark Knight and Jack Nicholson’s Joker. But don’t take my word for it. Dust off your cowl, polish your Batarang and return to Gotham City below.

THE FLASH

It’s always a pleasure to see Keaton’s Batman facing off against Nicholson’s Joker. And this new trailer has really kicked my excitement into high gear. Keaton’s return in The Flash is one of the major selling points of the movie. And James Gunn’s recent comments about the movie as “one of the greatest superhero movies ever made” has cemented its status as the motion picture event of the summer. And that is an exciting prospect.

Moreover, James Gunn recently stated that there is always room for more adventures with Keaton’s Batman thanks to the Multiverse aspects of the newly revamped DC Universe. The BIG relaunch had Bat-fans fearing the worst. But with the slate free to tap into other universes, the sky is the limit for Keaton, the DCU, and DC fans everywhere. Bring it on!
