FAMILY FUN, AND BRITISH EXCELLENCE AT THE HEART OF RAKUTEN TV IN MAY
Today, one of Europe’s leading streaming platforms, Rakuten TV, announced the release of its latest titles for May 2023, with children’s entertainment and historic occasions at the forefront of its portfolio.
Providing family fun, just in time for half term, Maya The Bee and Sea Level will be released on Rakuten TV’s AVOD section in May, free of charge to users. Rakuten TV’s “STORE” selection will also be providing further entertainment for those on school holidays, with sci-fi and animation hits Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, 65, and Swan Princess: A Fairytale Is Born coming to the platform. Finalizing this action-packed lineup will be FAST Channel, Watch Mojo, which will be airing specials of Star Wars to celebrate Star Wars Day and Eurovision specials across the month, providing further family entertainment.
VE DAY, BUY OR RENT TITLES, AND A GREAT BRITISH BANK HOLIDAY
Celebrating what will be a historic month in Britain, VE Day – Forever in Their Debt will be available on the ‘Free’selection to commemorate VE Day on 8th May and Rakuten TV’s FAST channels will also mark a monumental occasion, with History Hit airing specials to celebrate King Charles III’s coronation. Great British Menu also joins the FAST channel roster, perfect for the British Bank Holiday weekend.
Continuing to house an abundance of entertainment genres through its ‘Buy or Rent’ offering, Rakuten TV will also release titles ranging from documentaries, such as Little Richard: I Am Everything, My Everest, and The Last Tourist, to horror, including Scream VI and Organ Trail, and dramas Tell It Like a Woman, The Beasts, and Small, Slow But Steady.
To celebrate what will be a ‘Great British Bank Holiday’, Rakuten TV will allow audiences to enjoy the best of British cinema including Living, starring Bill Nighy, Good Luck To You Leo Grande, starring Emma Thompson, and The Father, starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman.
