
Total Film has shared a new look at Star Wars: Ahsoka featuring Rosario Dawson’s former Jedi talking with Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Hera Syndulla
Although we are still over two months away from the season premiere of Star Wars: Ahsoka on Disney Plus, the streamer is already pouring fuel into the hyperdrive generator. After a recent TV spot announced the series’ release on August 23, Lucasfilm has now begun to release new stills from the series. And as expected, the focus is heavily on Rosario Dawson’s former Jedi Apprentice. And in the most recent reveal shared by Total Film, Ahsoka is communicating with Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Hera Syndulla via hologram. Check it out below.
THE SERIES
Set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
in addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, “Ahsoka” stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.

RELEASE
As seen in the recent TV Spot, Sabine Wren ignites Ezra Bridger’s lightsaber and prepares to engage in an epic duel with Shin Hati. A sequence that will delight fans everywhere. Moreover, the looming threat of Grand Admiral Thrawn’s imminent return serves as the trailer’s main focus. And with the master tactician’s face yet to be revealed, the hype has certainly hit the fast lane! But can Dave Filoni’s new series build upon the foundations of The Clone Wars and Rebels? Only time will tell. But on the strength of these new images, we could be looking at the TV event of the summer!
