Hot Toys announces a wave of new figures for their Summer Showcase!

As Anakin Skywalker would say “This is where the fun begins!” Indeed, Hot Toys has announced a new wave of figures for their Summer Showcase 2023. And this one is mostly Marvel focused. We are getting a brand new Peter Parker figure from the Spider-Man 2 video game. This time, it’s the black suit. As usual with Summer Showcase figures, there will be a special edition, for Spider-Man it will be an additional masked head in transformation! The second figure is a new Tony Stark. Hot Toys is continuing their line of suit-up figures with Mark VII from Avengers. The special edition for this one includes an hologram of the Avengers tower. And the final figure is Kai’Sa from the newly acquired League of Legends license.

PETER PARKER (BLACK SUIT)

In the latest Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sneak peek trailer, Peter Parker is seen fighting with an alternate suit on! This solid black suit enhances Peter’s power with unique abilities, but at the same time it has a clear physiological effect on Peter, altering his look, making him more aggressive, even against his friends like Miles.

This amazingly-detailed figure features a newly crafted masked head, his physique depicted by a specialized body, newly developed black suit with detailed texture and patterns, articulated pincers with black tendrils, an array of accessories including black web shooter with newly designed black webbing accessories, web-wings, a tentacle effect, matching interchangeable hands and a display base.

TONY STARK (MARK VII SUITUP VERSION)

Tony Stark, the multi-billionaire superhero from the Marvel Universe, is known for his larger-than-life moments in both movies and comics. His high-tech suit of armor makes his nearly invincible. Apart from his epic fight scenes, his suit-up moments have also entertained fans over the years.

Hot Toys is excited to present the 1/6th scale Tony Stark (Mark VII Suit up Version) collection figure based on The Avengers. Mark VII was a suit with remote capabilities. It was first disclosed when Loki pushed Tony Stark out of his office window. As Tony fell from the Stark Tower, he commanded JAVIS to launch the Mark VII suit, which come to rescue him at sonic speed.

We’ve taken the electrifying Mark VII suiting up scene to heart and enriched the figure at every level by faithfully recreating Tony Stark’s portrait and his high-tech armor suit in multiple pieces which allows variations of display, including three styles of display for suit up transformation and his causal wear look.
