The latest character poster drop from Star Wars: Ahsoka reunites us with the legendary Protocol Droid C-3PO
With the jaw-dropping seventh episode of STAR WARS: AHSOKA now streaming and delighting fans everywhere, Lucasfilm has continued the weekly character poster drop. And for the latest addition to the catalog of glorious one-sheets, we are being reunited with a very old friend.
Making his triumphant return this week, the legendary protocol droid and legend of the saga, C-3PO arrived at the behest of Leia Organa and saved Hera Syndulla from a New Republic Court Martial. His timely intervention all but saved her career and put her firmly in the crosshairs of Senator Xiono. But with the looming return of Grand Admiral Thrawn on the horizon, the veteran of the Galactic Civil War has bigger Colo Claw Fish to fry! But it was wonderful to see Threepio back. And his return was all the more rewarding with Anthony Daniels’ unforgettable voice emerging from beneath the golden faceplate. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Scroll down and check out the new poster for yourself.
Of course, C-3PO is just one of the characters to feature in this landmark series. But it is refreshing to see these legends of the saga being pushed to the forefront again. Traditionally these posters drop within hours of the latest episode launching on Disney Plus. And this week’s new release is no different. So we are eating well with Dave Filoni’s breathtaking series and long may the feast continue. After all, we’ve already been treated to posters for Ahsoka, Hera, Sabine, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Morgan Elsbeth, Huyang, Chopper, Marrok, Sabine’s Loth-Cat, Mon Mothma, Jacen Syndulla and Carson Teva. More recently, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano (Padawan), and Clone Captain Rex arrived to bring The Clone Wars back to the fore. And last week, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Ezra Bridger, Captain Enoch, and The Great Mothers arrived. Check them out here.
But who will be joining C-3PO on a glossy poster next week? Will the Night Troopers be rewarded with a new poster? Could another REBELS character be about to make their live-action debut? Or will Dave Filoni blow us away and drop a poster for the lovable Purrgils? All will be revealed when Star Wars: Ahsoka returns for Part 8 on October 4th.
Future of the Force will cover the series from every angle. And that begins with our customary in-depth review that will drop within hours of each episode. And if that isn’t enough, our traditional poster and concept art coverage will keep you entertained as we build the hype for the latest episode. You’ll never miss a thing with Future of the Force.
