Do you fancy a sneak peek at some of the content coming to Prime Video this January? Then we have you covered. With the third series of James May: Our Man In India, LOL: Last One Laughing (Irish Original.) Original movies such as Freelance, Foe, and Role Play. And premieres of About My Father, and The Marsh King’s Daughter, you can’t go wrong with the post-Christmas entertainment on offer. Let’s take a look.
UPCOMING SERIES
JAMES MAY: OUR MAN IN INDIA (5th JANUARY)
Following the success of James May: Our Man In Japan, and James May: Our Man In Italy, the third series will see May journey on an epic adventure across 3,000 miles of the Indian subcontinent. Starting his journey in Mumbai, May will travel north through Udaipur to experience the Holi festival, before he heads into Rajasthan. He’ll then cover Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The so-called “Golden Triangle”. Before following the Ganges eastwards to the holy city of Varanasi. Next, a trip to Kolkata, followed by the Himalayan foothills around Darjeeling, before ending his journey in the natural wonders of the Sundarbans.
LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING IRELAND (19th JANUARY)
Using his trademark wit, host Graham Norton will oversee the 10 comedic stars, brought together to make each other laugh by using every unpredictable comedic tool in the box…without cracking a smile themselves. With the added bonus of some celebrity cameos, their performances will have the viewers-but hopefully not their fellow stars-laughing out loud. As the clock counts down and the tension rises, whoever can outlast their competitors will be crowned the first winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland and win a grand prize of 50,000 Euros for their charity of choice.
HAZBIN HOTEL (19th JANUARY)
Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be “checking out” into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult film star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the “Radio Demon” reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavours, her crazy dream is given a chance to become reality.
EXPATS (26th January)
Set against the complex tapestry of Hong Kong residents, Expats depicts a multifaceted group of women after a single encounter sets off a chain of life-altering events that leaves everyone navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability.

Henrietta and Junior farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger shows up at their door with a startling proposal. Will they risk their relationship & personal identity for a chance to survive in a new world?
ABOUT MY FATHER (10th January)
Encouraged by his fiancee, a man and his father spend the weekend with her wealthy and exceedingly eccentric family. The gathering soon develops into a culture clash, allowing father and son to discover the true meaning of family.
ROLE PLAY (ORIGINAL MOVIE-12th January)
Emma has a wonderful husband and two kids in the suburbs of New Jersey – she also has a secret life as an assassin for hire – a secret that her husband David discovers when the couple decide to spice up their marriage with a little role play.
THE MARSH KING’S DAUGHTER (15th January)
Helena, a woman living a seemingly ordinary life, hides a dark secret—her father is the infamous ‘Marsh King’, the man who kept her and her mother captive in the wilderness for years. After a lifetime of trying to escape her past, Helena is forced to face her demons when her father unexpectedly escapes from prison.
BOTTOMS (26th January)
Unpopular best friends PJ and Josie start a high school self-defence club to meet girls and lose their virginity. They soon find themselves in over their heads when the most popular students start beating each other up in the name of self-defence.
