A wintry new poster for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire brings festive cheer to a ghost-infested New York City
Sony Pictures has been pouring fuel into the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire proton pack in the past few weeks. The month started with the first jaw-dropping trailer for the sequel before the studio revealed the return of the lovable ghost Slimer. Ordinarily, this news alone would be enough to have us reaching for our PKE meter. But today, the studio upped the ante by dropping a new poster for the movie which will be bringing a chill to cinemas in March.
The sensational new poster taps into the spirit of the previous outing by depicting Ecto-1 facing down a horde of gruesome ghosts. Of course, the newer members of the cast are on hand to face off against this ominous force. But this time they’re not alone because the original Ghostbusters are back in the saddle and ready to trap a few unwelcome apparitions. What’s more, even Slimer gets a spot on the festive-looking new poster. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Slide down the firepoles and check out the reveal below.

THE SUPERSTARS OF THE SUPERNATURAL ARE BACK!
The long-awaited sequel will be the fourth outing for the original superstars of the supernatural. The movie will see the return of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, and Celeste O’Connor who all reprise their respective roles. Joining the cast for this outing are Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind. And finally, returning to the role of Walter Peck for the first time since the original Ghostbusters is screen legend William Atherton. But with Slimer and the Mini-Pufts on hand to raise the stakes, the long-awaited sequel just got a hefty dose of ectoplasmic awesomeness.
