THE FIRST OMEN
The AntiChrist begins his rise to power in the first look trailer for the horror prequel The First Omen.
Are you ready to experience The First Omen? You need to be. 20th Century Studios is bringing us the horror prequel on April 5th. The film is set before the events of the original 1976 film and tells the story of how the child came to be. Fans of the franchise know that the child will grow up to become Damien Thorn. Damien will become the adopted son of an American diplomat on his way to rising to the most powerful office in the world. The American Presidency.

The original trilogy set the tone for a battle of good versus evil. Damien himself was played by Harvey Stephens as a child in the original film. Jonathan Scott-Taylor as a teenage Damien in the sequel. And Sam Neill in the trilogy closer. There is a fourth film, a TV movie titled Omen IV: The Awakening that tried to continue the franchise. However many fans discounted both the movie and the 2006 remake of the original film.

THE SCARES AND THE FIRST TRAILER FOR THE NEW FILM
Of the three movies, the first is the most scary, especially the fate of the late David Warner. Having said that the elevator scene in the sequel will give you nightmares too. The third film suffered from a lack of real scares except for the fate of the American Ambassador to London. But no matter which is your favourite, the gruesome deaths in the trilogy will stick in your mind for a long time after.

The prequel though needs to live up to fans and audience expectations. It features a cast which includes Nell Tiger Free, Sônia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy. The movie is directed by Arkasha Stevenson, and written by Stevenson, Tim Smith and Keith Thomas, from a story by Ben Jacoby. The first trailer for the film has been released. Grab your crucifix as we take our first look.
