The new movie from acclaimed British director Rose Glass, Love Lies Bleeding, is heading towards screens. The film, starring Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brian hits theaters in the U.S. on March 8th, and the UK on the 19th of April. A24 is distributing the film in America while Lionsgate has the honor in the United Kingdom. The movie also features Dave Franco, Anna Baryshnikov, Jena Malone, and Ed Harris among its cast. It is a romantic thriller which sees Stewart as a gym employee and O’Brian as a bisexual bodybuilder. Rose Glass and Weronika Tofilska have written the screenplay. A trailer for the film has been released. Be warned though, the trailer is Red-Band.
PREMISE
Reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Las Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.
Revenge Gets Ripped when Love Lies Bleeding opens in the United States on March 8th. And in the United Kingdom on April 19th.
