Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Gets A Seasonally Spooky New Poster

The superstars of the supernatural get some serious chills in the new trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Haunting screens on March 22nd.

Can you feel the chill in the air? You should do. The countdown to Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is well and truly on. The superstars of the supernatural will be back to bust some more ghosts on March 22nd. The film is the fourth film in the franchise that started back in 1984 and the fifth film in all. The film stars Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Celeste O’Connor, and Logan Kim, alongside Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and William Atherton. After the release of the first trailer, hopes are high that the new movie will once again be a brilliant supernatural comedy. The new trailer for the film has returned from the beyond. Strap on your proton pack and jump into Ecto-1 as we take a look.

THE PREMISE

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family decide to leave Summerville, Oklahoma and go back to where it all started. The iconic New York City firehouse. And help the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level! But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

THE CREW

Stepping down from the director’s chair after the superb Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Jason Reitman returns to produce the film. As well as co-writing it with Gil Kenan, who also directs. Jason Blumenfeld joins Reitman in a producing role while Dario Marianelli takes over scoring duties from Rob Simonsen. Columbia Pictures and Ghost Corps are the production companies behind the film. Sony Pictures Entertainment will be distributing the new movie.
