Sixteen years ago, the psychological horror film The Strangers opened in cinemas. Starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, the film defied mixed reviews to become a box office hit, earning $82.4 million against a $9 million budget. A sequel, entitled The Strangers: Prey At Night hit screens ten years later in 2018. Again, the film received mixed reviews but managed to earn $32.1 million against a $5 million budget.
