Spring is in the air as the mountain of entertainment delivers some fresh content this April on Paramount+
There’s some fresh entertainment this April on Paramount+. With the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery. Comedic movie entertainment with Sumotherhood. Reality TV fans will get their fix with The Challenge All Stars-Series 4. And the debut of the spin-off series Knuckles. There’s plenty of top-quality entertainment that has descended from the entertainment mountain.
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY-SEASON 5
The first two episodes drop on April 4th. There are 10 episodes of 6o minutes each. The fifth and final season will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncovering a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well. Dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it.
THE RETIREMENT PLAN
The film drops on April 26th. Retirement can be a real killer. Ashley and her young daughter find themselves caught up with the wrong people. With their lives on the line, she turns to the only person who can help. Her estranged father, Matt. Currently a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands, Matt must leave retirement behind and hone the skills from his former career as a hitman.
SUMOTHERHOOD
The film drops on April 10th. Riko and Kane have big dreams, no respect, and a big debt. Yes! So, it’s time to man up and finally be taken seriously as “Roadmen”. Once putting their heads together on various ways to make some money, they decide to rob a megastar in a nightclub toilet and hold up the local bank. But things inevitably don’t go to plan!! However, somehow a misunderstanding leads them to be desired and acquired for business with one of East London’s toughest firms. Putting them in the line of fire to the firm’s arch-rivals.
THE CHALLENGE ALL STARS-SERIES 4
Episodes 1 and 2 drop on April 11th. There are 12 episodes of 60 minutes each. On the fourth season of The Challenge: All Stars, old-school legends, modern power players, redemption-seekers and ex-lovers reunite in Cape Town, South Africa to compete for $300,000. In this game, anyone can win, relationships matter, and only one All-Star will claim the title of champion.
KNUCKLES
The box set drops on April 27th. There are 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. In the cinematic world of Sonic The Hedgehog, the new live-action series will follow Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protege and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic The Hedgehog 3, marking the next instalment of the hit franchise.
CONTINUED ICONIC SERIES
March also sees the continuation of some series that have already premiered on the streaming service. A Gentleman In Moscow will see episodes 2-5 become available. While Celebrity Ex On The Beach will drop episodes 3-7.
