Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth will do battle in the Wasteland when Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga opens on May 24th.
The wait is almost over. In a little over two weeks, we will be returning once more to the Wasteland alongside Furiosa. The prequel movie, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is thundering towards cinemas at a frantic, unrelenting pace. Starring Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa and Chris Hemsworth as Warlord Dementus, it looks as if we are in for yet another thrilling ride. Director George Miller has returned to the world he created forty-five years ago to bring the audience another chapter in the long-running saga.
While Max Rockatansky isn’t the focus of this new movie, he will be making a cameo appearance in some capacity. Whether that’ll be with a look at his famous car in the background or an appearance from Tom Hardy as Max remains to be seen. However, this isn’t his movie, this is the story of Furiosa. And we all know we will be queuing around the block to get in to see the movie. The final trailer for the film has been released. Get ready for our final look before the film opens.
PREMISE
Set 15 to 20 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road. As the world falls apart, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers. And into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.
