Future of the Force is known for its love of creature features. From sharks and dinosaurs to Cocaine Bears, we’re always ready to grab some popcorn and enjoy a thrilling night. The next film we’re excited about is SURVIVE, presented by Signature Entertainment. This upcoming movie promises to be a real treat for fans of creature features. In SURVIVE, the world’s oceans oddly evaporate, leaving humanity to survive on the desolate surface.
This dystopian storyline would typically have us at the edge of our seats. However, when you add a swarm of deadly crabs emerging from the depths of the earth, it’s impossible not to take notice. Quickly, the survivors find themselves in a battle for survival as the swarm ravages the surface and any unsuspecting victims it encounters. SYNOPSIS
When the oceans disappear, danger is all that remains on the surface. Julia and her loving husband are celebrating her son’s birthday on their boat in the middle of the ocean, but when a violent storm nearly capsizes them, the family awakes in a desert land. Earth has undergone a tragic polarity reversal, draining water from the oceans. After tragedy befalls the family, Julia must save her children in a world where hungry creatures from the abyss hunt for fresh flesh. Starring Andreas Pietschmann (Dark), Émilie Dequenne (Brotherhood of the Wolf), Lisa Delamar and Lucas Ebel, Survive is directed by Frédéric Jardin (Sleepless).
RELEASE
I can’t stop thinking about this thrilling film featuring a swarm of deadly crustaceans. Watching a movie this intense usually calls for a trip to the cinema, and thankfully, Signature has us covered. The studio will debut the film at FrightFest 2024, promising an unforgettable experience for those in attendance. For the rest of us, the film will be available digitally on September 30th, allowing us to experience the spine-tingling terror from the safety of our own homes.
