Welcome To The Official Film Chart.
THE TOP TEN TITLES
This week sees two new entries and two re-entries into the placings. To make way for these four titles, it is a fond farewell to Practical Magic, Dune Part Two, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and Coraline. But what are these new and returning titles and where have they entered the chart? Let’s take a tour at what’s making the grade on home entertainment.

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE CONTINUE TO REIGN SUPREME!
Once again, despite some valiant efforts, nothing can defeat Deadpool & Wolverine at the top of the chart, claiming a fifth week at Number One. (Read our review here.)

IT ENDS WITH US ENDS UP HOLDING AT NUMBER TWO!
Mrs Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively claims another week at Number Two with the box office hit It Ends With Us.

THE JOKE IS ON THE CHART!
Our highest new entry of the week comes in the shape of the DC sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux at Number Three. (Read our review here.)

THE MINIONS STILL CLINGING TO NUMBER FOUR!
Gru and the Minions refuse to move once again as Despicable Me 4 clings onto the fourth spot.

DARE YOU TRY THE SUBSTANCE?
Our second and final new entry for the week comes in the shape of The Substance. One of the year’s best films, in my opinion, you’ll require a strong stomach to survive the two hours and twenty-one minutes of body horror. (Read our review here.)

THE GHOST WITH THE MOST IS ON HIS WAY DOWN!
Long-awaited comedy horror sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice finds itself falling three places to Number Six. (Read Our review here.)

THE XENOMORPH KEEPS TUMBLING!
Horror sequel Alien: Romulus tumbles two places to Number Seven but may move back up the chart again after the film hit digital retail this week. (Read our review here.)

WE TAKE A TRIP INTO THE BORDERLANDS AGAIN!
The big-screen adaptation of the classic videogame, Borderlands, re-enters the chart this week at Number Eight after becoming available on digital retail. (Read our review here.)

TWISTERS ARE ALL SPUN OUT!
The belated sequel, Twisters, is almost blown out as it weakens to a Number Nine finish. (Read our review here.)

ANYONE ORDER THE TRIPLE DEADPOOL?
Finally, with his latest movie topping the charts, Deadpool decides to release a triple threat with his Deadpool: 3-Movie Collection, returning to the chart at Number Ten.

WILL YOU TAKE A JOURNEY INTO MEGALOPOLIS?
And that is this week’s best-selling titles across the home entertainment market. Hitting PVOD this week is director Francis Ford Coppola’s passion project, Megalopolis. The film stars Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Talia Shire, Jason Schwartzman, Kathryn Hunter, Grace VanderWaal, Chloe Fineman, James Remar, D. B. Sweeney, and Dustin Hoffman. Set in an alternate, 21st-century New York City (restyled “New Rome”), it follows visionary architect Cesar Catilina (Driver) as he clashes with the corrupt Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Esposito), who opposes Catilina’s plans to revitalize New Rome by building the futuristic utopia “Megalopolis”. The film recieved mixed reviews and was one of the year’s biggest flops at the box office. However, if the film appeals to you, rent it for £15.99 from your preferred site.

The big question remains, can anything dethrone Deadpool & Wolverine at the top of the charts? As we approach Christmas (already?), we should see some of the favourite movies start hitting the placings. Can one of these defeat the Marvel duo? Check back again next week to see how things go, so until then…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other and happy viewing!
