Becky Lynch joins the Star Trek family as a full-time member of Starfleet Academy. Get ready for an out-of-this-world journey.
Guess who’s swapping the squared circle to boldly go where no one has gone before? WWE Superstar Becky Lynch is officially joining the bridge crew of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy! She shared the exciting news on social media, letting everyone know she’ll be a full-time member of the Paramount+ series. After wrapping up her time as the in-ring champion and losing the title to Liv Morgan, Becky (real name Rebecca Quin) is taking a break from wrestling to dive into some new projects.
In a statement, Lynch said:
“When you’ve already been champion of the world, there’s really only one place to go next… and that’s to the stars. I am so excited to share with all of you that I am joining Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as part of the bridge crew.
And lads, this has been the most incredible experience, acting alongside a spectacular cast and crew and I cannot wait for all of you to check it out when it comes out on Paramount+ and hey, live long and prosper.”
