Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for Jurassic World: Rebirth, composed by Alexandre Desplat. Check out the cover art.
Look out, soundtrack fans, because Alexandre Desplat’s score for Jurassic World: Rebirth is emerging from its amber crysylis on July 2. Gareth Edwards’ visually stunning blockbuster brings dinosaurs back to our screens next month. Back Lot Music is releasing the score alongside this big-screen adventure. Film Music Reporter has a sample of the score available to stream, so check it out.
The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech) and will be released digitally on July 2. Mutant will release a physical version. Take a look at the album cover art below.

ALEXANDRE DESPLAT
Alexandre Desplat is now one of only four composers to create music for a film in the Jurassic franchise. John Williams famously composed the scores for both of Steven Spielberg’s original movies. Don Davis provided a notable score for Jurassic Park III, while the exceptional Michael Giacchino composed three impressive scores for Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World trilogy. Each composer to date has incorporated John Williams’ iconic music into their scores to maintain continuity within the franchise. We hope Desplat will do the same and create a score that honors this beloved saga.
However, given the brilliance of his previous scores, who would bet against the composer to deliver the mother of all Jurassic scores?
