Do you like scary movies? A new Fortnite Ghostface skin from Scream has been added to the Fortnitemares map!
Look out, Scream fans, because Ghost Face has arrived in Fortnite. The full Fortnite Fortnitemares character drop has been revealed, and as expected, it is packed with horror icons. We’ve known for a while that Ghost Face would be making his debut in the Fortnitemares 2025 event. But until now, we have only seen hints of his arrival.
Thankfully, all that has changed thanks to the character making his debut in the Fortnite item shop. You heard right, Ghost Face is available to buy from the item shop now, and he comes with a bunch of excellent cosmetics to make your Fortnitemares season go off with a bang. Take a look at the reveal trailer below.
THE SKIN
This incredible new skin features an impressive likeness to his on-screen doppelganger and boasts a host of fabulous accessories. Players can enjoy using the killer’s legendary hunting knife as a pickaxe and a nifty bag of tricks for his back bling. But if that isn’t enough, the character comes with his iconic “Knife Cleaner” emote. Take a look at the set below.
PRICES
As expected, Epic Games is treating the skin as a special release, and the price of the set reflects that. If you’re hoping to add the entire set to your collection, it will set you back a cool 2,000 V-Bucks. However, Fortnite will always split the components to make the set more affordable. It is terrific to see Ghost Face finally making his debut on the map. Fans are buzzing with excitement over the possibility of adding more of these horror icons to their collection, especially after Halloween’s Michael Myers proved to be a runaway hit with horror fans last year. And thankfully, Epic Games is happy to oblige. Jason Voorhees, the Grabber, and Art the Clown are all bolstering the horror ranks in 2025. Plus, with Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Inc already sharing their Scooby Snacks on the map, the 2025 Fortnitemares season is promising to be one of the best yet!
RELEASE
The new Fortnite x Scream collaboration is available in the item shop now until October 20th. So be sure to make space in your inventory for Scream’s iconic slasher. Additionally, players can enjoy the killer’s iconic knife-wielding abilities by changing into his iconic costume in one of the many phone booths dotted around the map. Switching costumes will grant players the killer’s mythic “Last Call” ability, enhancing their knife attacks, stamina, and jumping abilities.
