THE OFFICIAL TOP TEN CHART
Here we go! As predicted, the Christmas movies have started to trickle into the chart placings. This week sees two classic titles make their usual yearly visits to the top ten chart. But what are they, and where have they re-joined us? Grab your sacks as we find out.

(1) THE GRINCH (ANIMATED)
The Grinch (Animated) steals the spotlight atop the Official Film Chart once again. Featuring vibrant animation and a playful reimagining of Dr Seuss’s iconic tale, the film follows the Grinch’s elaborate plans to ruin Christmas for Whoville, only to discover the deeper meaning of the festive season. Its mix of mischief, heart and humour makes it a perennial holiday favourite.

(2) WICKED
Dropping into Number 2, Wicked remains one of the chart’s strongest performers. This lavish musical brings the world of Oz to life through a rich backstory exploring the friendship and rivalry between Glinda and Elphaba. Packed with spectacular set pieces and emotional ballads, it continues to draw in fans of both the stage and screen.

(3) THE POLAR EXPRESS
The Polar Express makes its traditional seasonal surge, leaping into Number 3. (4) DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE
This week’s biggest mover, Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale, rises from 27 last week to Number 4, an impressive 23-place jump. Serving as a heartfelt conclusion to the Crawley family saga, the film delivers elegant period drama, emotional reunions, and a sense of closure for long-time fans. Its refined storytelling and rich ensemble performances have reignited interest in the beloved franchise.

(5) ELF

(9) F1: THE MOVIE

(10) BRIDGET JONES: MAD ABOUT THE BOY
