Reunite with the heroes of the Monsterverse on the all-new character posters from Monarch Legacy of Monsters Season 2.
Ahead of the first episode from Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 on Apple TV, the streamer has shared a treasure trove of new character posters from the series. The second season promises to be one of the jewels in the streamer’s crown. Furthermore, if the trailer is anything to go by, fans will be eating well this Spring. The trailer has revealed a monstrous new Titan, Titan X, rampaging across the globe. However, with Kong and Godzilla snapping at its heels, and Luke Shaw and his brave team of heroes fighting to preserve their family’s legacy, this mission looks set to be the most dangerous so far.
With so much development being afforded to the human characters, it comes as no surprise that the character posters are devoted to their brilliant cast. From Wyatt and Kurt Russell’s Lee Shaw to Anna Sawai’s Cate Randa, every one of our would-be heroes is here front and center. But don’t take my word for it. SYNOPSIS
Season two unleashes Kong, Godzilla and the debut of “Titan X,” expanding Legendary’s Monsterverse alongside stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm.
In addition to Kong, season two will feature Godzilla and introduce a new Titan: the enigmatic Titan X, now officially on the loose. Titan X isn’t just another monster; it’s a living cataclysm. When its massive bioluminescent form breaks the surface of the ocean, the world seems to hold its breath. In “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” season two, Titan X stands at the centre of the mystery – an ancient force emerging from the deep, its purpose uncertain, its power unmatched, its awe and terror in equal measure. Additional season two guest stars include Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper and Camilo Jiménez Varón.
Season two will pick up with the fate of Monarch – and the world – hanging in the balance. The dramatic saga reveals buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe – all with the threat of a titan event on the horizon.

What a phenomenal collection of character posters. Having seen all ten episodes of the new season, we cannot wait to share our thoughts with you. Sadly, due to the studio’s embargo, we can’t go into any further detail. However, rest assured, fans of the Monsterverse are in for another wild ride. But with Godzilla deep into his regenerative cycle, and Kong taking the fight to Titan X on Skull Island, the second season is a shoo-in to deliver awesomeness. Plus, with the series leading into the events of Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, fans will be watching with glee in the hope to learn more about the colossal sequel. Exciting times ahead!
The 10-episode second season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” will premiere globally on Apple TV on Friday, February 27, 2026, with the first episode, followed by one episode every Friday until May 1, 2026.
