Arnold Schwarzenegger’s action classic, Eraser, also starring Vanessa Williams, is coming to 4K Ultra High Definition Blu-ray for the first time.
“Smile! You’ve just been erased.” Back in 1996, Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered a bona fide action classic with the action movie Eraser. The film was a highly enjoyable, thrilling movie from start to finish. The film faced heavy cuts on VHS and a few trims for its UK cinematic release. However, it still had plenty to engage and entertain the audience. Now, it’s back.
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Eraser, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vanessa Williams, the film will be available for purchase on 4K UHD Blu-ray, SteelBook, and Collector’s Edition on June 29. Directed by Chuck Russell (“The Mask”, “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors”), the newly remastered film will also include new bonus content featuring Russell, Vanessa Williams, and Executive Producer Michael Tadross reflecting on the making of the film 30 years later.
THE PREMISE
U.S. Marshal John Kruger (Arnold Schwarzenegger) “erases” the lives and identities of people entering the Witness Protection Program. When his latest charge (Vanessa Williams) uncovers a deal to put a new superweapon in the wrong hands, it’s a do-or-die assignment. Kruger embarks on a high-octane action spree to protect her. As exciting as it is entertaining, Eraser is unstoppable.
