Fear not, Star Wars fans, because Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord Season 2 is coming sooner than you’d expect, says Sam Witwer!
With the gripping first season of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord now in the books, fans are already desperate to see where the series turns next. With Maul dueling with one of the saga’s biggest icons, the series went out on a high note. But with Crimson Dawn now in the mix, and Maul’s calculated plot coming to fruition, the second season of the hit series cannot come quickly enough.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to see what happens next. According to the voice of Maul, the legendary Sam Witwer, the second season might not be as far away as we might expect. During an interview with The Direct about the pulse-pounding season finale, Witwer dropped a nugget of information that is music to our ears.
“I know when it’s coming out, but it’s not a situation where the audiences will have to wait too, too long. I think I am forbidden from saying what I know, but we are working on it. We’ve been working on it for a while, and it’s interesting,” Witwer shared.
SEASON 2
This is exceptional news. To date, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord has become a monumental hit for Lucasfilm, drawing 4.1 million viewers shortly after its premiere. These figures have once again established Maul as a Force to be reckoned with. With Dave Filoni’s signature touch and Sam Witwer’s iconic vocals, the series has cemented itself as a true gem of Star Wars storytelling.

As always, Sam Witwer embodies this character and delivers a wonderfully weighted, layered performance that adds new dimensions to our beloved former Sith.
