We’re just days away from another brand-new episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and after last week’s stylish bout of black-and-white drama, the crew of the Enterprise is about to hit the felt. Literally! This time around, our intrepid heroes are getting turned into plush puppets, because apparently even Starfleet isn’t immune to The Muppet Show treatment.
This week’s episode is titled “Level-Five Transporter Accident,” and it sounds like the Enterprise crew is in for one of their wildest adventures yet. An unexpected transporter malfunction transforms Captain Pike (Anson Mount) and the crew into plush puppets, leaving Spock (Ethan Peck) to defend the ship from a group of Orion invaders. Because when the Klingons aren’t causing trouble, why not throw a few Orions into the mix?
It looks like Strange New Worlds is once again proving that there’s no adventure too weird for the Enterprise. Thankfully, we have a brand-new gallery of official episode stills to tide you over until launch day. So grab your tricorder, set a course for adventure, and engage—maximum warp!
