MGM+ Debuts Exhilarating Trailer and Key Art For Season Two Of Outlander: Blood of my Blood

MGM+ has revealed a new look at Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 2 with a gripping new trailer and Key Art

With the final season of Outlander already breaking our hearts, MGM+ is wasting no time lining up our next dose of time-traveling drama. The streamer has unveiled a brand-new trailer for Season 2 of the critically acclaimed prequel series, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, giving fans another tantalizing glimpse at the romantic saga waiting beyond the horizon. And, because one new look simply isn’t enough, MGM+ has also unveiled the first poster for the upcoming season.

The stunning new artwork puts the series’ two beloved couples front and center: Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), alongside Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy). As both couples face another tangled web of romance, family drama, and time-traveling complications, their love will once again be tested in ways they could never have imagined. But when love runs this deep, not even the twists and turns of time may be powerful enough to keep these couples apart. Before we saddle up and journey back to 1715 Scotland, take a look at the gorgeous new trailer and poster below!

THE SERIES

After an unexpected journey back in time left Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) Beauchamp lost and separated in the sweeping highlands of 18th century Scotland, Season One culminated with the two finally reuniting at the standing stones of Craigh na Dun, hoping to return to their own time and their young daughter, Claire. The first glimpse at Season Two picks up at that moment and reveals a distraught Julia alone with their baby. Separated from his love and hope, Henry must grapple with his mental health, as he fights to find his way back to her.

Meanwhile, the forbidden relationship between Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) seemed to conquer all odds, but their romantic escape was cut short as fiery crosses were lit and the 1715 Jacobite Rising began, thrusting the clans into war. In Season One, they chose each other over their families, but now they must prioritize their clan loyalties, as Brian fulfils his obligation to fight and Ellen seeks to make things right with her family.

RELEASE

This series is exceptional and has shot straight to the top of our late-summer watchlist. Matthew B. Roberts’ unique vision transforms Outlander: Blood of My Blood into an immersive, timeless television experience that feels tailor-made for a cozy night on the sofa. Add in spectacular production values, breathtaking locations, and a cast that clearly understands the assignment, and you have a series bursting with all the ingredients of an instant classic.

We were fortunate enough to attend the series premiere in London last summer, and it was an absolute blast. Roberts has assembled a brilliant ensemble to bring this new chapter of the Outlander universe to life, and every member of the cast appears fully invested in making the series something special. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and that passion shines through in every frame.

If that same energy carries into future seasons, Outlander: Blood of My Blood could have a long and very successful journey ahead of it. For now, though, audiences can sit back, settle in, and enjoy what promises to be another wonderfully immersive trip through the Outlander universe.
