We were fortunate enough to see Disney’s Moana well ahead of its theatrical release, and it proved to be a fun-filled return to Motunui. In my FOUR-STAR review, I wrote, “Thomas Kail’s live-action Moana is an absolute delight. Bolstered by breathtaking cinematography, captivating performances, and a heartfelt sense of adventure, it faithfully captures everything that made the original so beloved. This is phenomenal news! Moana’s live-action adventure was an absolute blast on the big screen, so I cannot wait to experience its brilliance all over again from the comfort of my sofa.
