Bigfoot is about to unleash some serious John Wick-style fury in Wildman, the all-new revenge thriller coming from the genre studio behind Crawlers!
You know, sometimes a film comes along that just screams absurdly brilliant. Regular readers of Future of the Force will know that kind of material is precisely what gets us out of bed in the morning! So, when a new movie featuring Bigfoot going full John Wick in a blood-soaked revenge thriller comes along, you can bet we’re sitting up and taking notice.
You heard that right: Bigfoot is getting his John Wick freak on! Titled WILDMAN, this all-new revenge thriller hails from the studio behind Crawlers and promises to deliver a gloriously brutal, bloodthirsty slice of creature-feature mayhem.
The premise? A Sasquatch embarks on a relentless quest for vengeance after a group of humans kills its baby brother. And if that doesn’t sound like a recipe for wonderfully unhinged cinematic chaos, we don’t know what does!

SYNOPSIS
“When his little brother is killed by hunters, Bigfoot goes on a quest to retrieve the body while killing everyone responsible along the way.”
THE ROAD TO THE SCREEN
The story is the brainchild of Jacob Rainer, a budding author who originally submitted the concept to a horror screenplay contest run by Carson Reeves on Scriptshadow.net. Now, the wild idea is making its way to the big screen, with Scott Strauss’ Badlands set to release the film.
WILDMAN follows hot on the heels of Badlands’ first feature, Crawlers, a spider-filled horror movie directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández. Starring Matilda Lutz (Red Sonja) as Serena, Crawlers follows an overworked and underappreciated manager of the Paradiso Palms apartment complex who finds herself facing a nightmare when a venomous spider infestation takes hold. And if the trailer for Crawlers is anything to go by, Badlands clearly isn’t afraid of serving up some seriously creepy creature-feature chaos!

RELEASE
Okay, I’m sold! I’m an armchair believer in the existence of Bigfoot, so I cannot wait to immerse myself in this absolutely bat-shit-crazy take on the mythology. Throwing Sasquatch into a John Wick-style action thriller is one hell of a ballsy move, but it’s also the kind of gloriously bonkers concept that could strike gold at the global box office.
With the World of John Wick continuing to expand around Keanu Reeves’ rugged assassin, there’s certainly room for more stories, more mayhem, and perhaps even more adventures for characters like Caine. But let’s be honest, there’s one question that really matters: will the Baba Yaga ever find himself going toe-to-toe with Bigfoot?
Now THAT is a crossover we’d pay good money to see!
