Marvel Studios unveil magnificent new character posters for the upcoming Ant-Man sequel
In the aftermath of blockbusters like Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, one can be forgiven for thinking that was it for the Marvel cinematic calendar in 2018, however in a few short weeks Ant-Man and the Wasp will arrive on our cinema screens to cap off what has been an incredibly lucrative year for Marvel Studios.
Black Panther alone accumulated well over $1.3 billion dollars in box office revenue from a worldwide audience desperate to immerse themselves in a cultural phenomenon from the fictional kingdom of Wakanda. And that was months before the arrival of Avengers: Infinity War, a juggernaut of epic proportions which has so far gone on to amass a return of £1.9 billion dollars, and that total shows no sign of slowing down after just six weeks at the box office.
To summarise, 2018 belongs to Marvel Studios and with the height of the summer season fast approaching, Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to add the icing to the Marvel cake when it arrives in cinemas in the USA on July 6 and the UK on August 3rd.
If the anticipation for the Ant-Man sequel wasn’t enough to tantalise the fans, Marvel has now released an array of glorious character posters which reveal the awesome new characters we will encounter when the film arrives.

Whether you are a comic book fan or not, the Marvel Universe is the place to be just now and the box office returns are staggering. The current cinematic landscape belongs to Marvel and with Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 all set for release next year, their domination shows no sign of relenting.
