The greatest alien hunter in the galaxy is about to strike back
The Predator franchise is arguably one of the most popular in the illustrious history of Hollywood. And yet, despite boating five incredible motion picture appearances – fans of the ferocious alien hunter are yet to be rewarded with a legitimate sequel to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s curtain raiser to the saga.
Many have tried, the majority have failed but that is all set to change when Shane Black brings his incarnation of the alien hunter to the screen this September. The Predator is back and this time the hunt has evolved. The teaser trailer failed to set the world on fire, as did the theatrical trailer which revealed more detail about the sequel, but it left us with more questions than answers.
But that is about to change thanks to 20th Century Fox. The studio has unleashed an all new theatrical trailer which will excite even the firmest of fans with its dark and visceral tone. The trailer reveals the image of a Predator spacecraft crash landing to earth and the hellfire and brimstone that arrives in the aftermath.
The alien hunter is returning to earth with time to kill…
If that wasn’t enough to tantalise us, Fox has also revealed a cool new poster for the movie which is hauntingly reminiscent of the Dark Horse comics covers of yesteryear. The poster reveals the alien hybridised hunter grasping the blood-soaked skull of one of its predated brethren, a trophy of the hunt perhaps?
If it bleeds, we can kill it!
The hunt evolves on September 14th
