S.H. Figuarts Review | Black Widow (Avengers Endgame)

Thomas gains access to Avengers headquarters to review Tamashii Nations’ Black Widow from Avengers Endgame

Black Widow is part of the first wave of Avengers Endgame figures from S.H. Figuarts. This figure comes with 10 interchangeable hands, 2 interchangeable faces, 2 fighting sticks, 2 guns, 4 interchangeable holders, 2 fighting sticks to attach on the back of the figure. That’s quite a difference compared to the Ant-Man figure!

Figuarts went with interchangeable faces instead of interchangeable heads once again, which is actually quite annoying! The two head sculpts are wonderful, there’s a good likeness to Scarlett Johansson and the digital tech print here has been applied beautifully. However, the second head sculpts with the eyes looking the other way… I’m not sure they chose this one, I would have preferred a different facial expression instead.

For the holsters, there are four of them, two with the guns stuck on it, and two without the guns, you can easily attach them on the legs. The fighting sticks that go to the back of the figure can also easily be attached. Though, the other fighting sticks are a bit difficult to put in the hands of the figure. Both guns and sticks are painted in an all-black color but are detailed.

The outfit is mostly black with some small red marks here and there, it’s screen accurate! Despite, the simplicity of the outfit, there are still some nice details on it and there are good paint apps. The figure has 24 points of articulation, perfect for great action poses!
