Thomas checks out the sensational Bucky Barnes action figure from Hot Toys
The Bucky Barnes figure from Avengers Infinity War was released last year by Hot Toys. It is currently on the waitlist at Sideshow Collectibles.
The box is the usual Avengers Infinity War box – the Avengers logo with an official drawing of the character.
This figure comes with 10 interchangeable hands, a disintegrating arm (from the Thanos Snap), a machine gun, a knife, the usual additional joints, and the Avengers Infinity War basic stand. The knife is painted all in black while the gun has a dirty look to it. It is also a high detailed accessory, that comes with a visor and ammunition, plus several moving parts like a cross and deployable feet.
This outfit is easily my favorite Bucky’s outfit. It gives him more of a hero look while keeping a soldier’s vibe. The jacket is using a type of fabric similar to the windbreaker while the pants are using something more like a military type of fabric. The color of the jacket goes well with the color of the mechanic arm. The arm isn’t diecast but they used great metallic paint! It is beautifully made with all these little gold lines.
The disintegrating arm is a pretty cool accessory and it’s easy to interchange with the basic arm. As usual with Hot Toys figures, you have over 30 points of articulation.
The headsculpt is hands down the best Sebastian Stan headsculpt, they totally nailed the look and no matter from which angle you look at it, it’s him! I’m always impressed by the incredible work done by the Hot Toys sculptors! It takes a lot of time for the figures to be released but it’s worth the wait!
Verdict:
Another amazing figure from Hot Toys and the ultimate Bucky Barnes figure!
