Our friends at the Ray And Diana Harryhausen Foundation have shared a juicy first look at a new statue of The Kraken from Clash Of The Titans. The colossal creature is part of the Harryhausen100 centenary collection from Star Ace Toys’ X-Plus collection.
This breathtaking statue replicates the moment in Ray Harryhausen‘s creature feature when the beast rises from the depths to claim the life of Princess Andromeda.
In recent months, Star Ace Toys has unveiled new statues of the Cyclops from the 7th Voyage Of Sinbad. Talos from Jason And The Argonauts. The Rhedosaurus from The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, and The Ymir from 20 Million Miles To Earth.
With the Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation recently celebrating Ray’s centenary, I can think of no better way to commemorate it than with this wonderful statue of one of Ray’s most beloved creatures.
Sadly, there is no news on when pre-orders will be made available. Nor is there any pricing information available. But as soon as we hear more information, we’ll update the post.
