La’An Noonien-Singh joins the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise in the newest promo for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is warping towards its release on Paramount Plus. The series, which follows the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike launches on the platform on May 5. And eager to ensure we are suitably excited, the streamer has given the order to launch the promo campaign with an injection of impulse power.
Today, the streamer has debuted a second new character promo. Just hours after we were introduced to Cadet Nyota Uhura played by the super-talented Celia Rose Gooding we are getting up close and personal with Lieutenant La’An. And she is a force to be reckoned with. Check out the promo below:

It’s always a pleasure to see new additions to the crew of the Enterprise. But when her surname is Noonien-Singh we stand up and take notice. It’s no secret that La’An is a descendant of Khan Noonien-Singh, James T. Kirk’s arch-nemesis from The Original Series. But will she be holding any grudges when she joins the crew of the U.S.S Enterprise? Only time will tell. But with the series looking this good Strange New Worlds has already cemented itself as the must-see TV event of the year.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Rebecca Romjin as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Spock. Joining them are Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga and Bruce Horak as Hemmer.
The series premieres on Paramount+ in the US on May 5, 2022.
