The Flash Character Posters Emerge From The Speed Force!

The Flash gets some brand-new footage in the final trailer for the upcoming DC Movie.

The Flash will be speeding into theaters in just under a month. The long-awaited solo movie for the Ezra Miller-played character looks to be a surefire hit for DC Studios and Warner Bros. With the addition of Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/ Batman for the first time since 1992, expectations are very high. Several of my colleagues have already seen an incomplete version of the film and have reported that it is excellent. The excitement levels for the movie are hitting new heights.

Those levels of excitement will increase once you take a look at the new final trailer for the film. It contains footage that we haven’t seen so far in the other released trailers. The footage will excite fans and non-fans alike as it looks like we will be getting a comic book movie for the ages. And it features the return of Jeremy Irons as Batman’s Butler Alfred. Take a look below.

Barry Allen / The Flash travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, which traps him in an alternate reality without metahumans. He enlists the help of his younger self, an older Batman, and the Kryptonian castaway Supergirl in order to save this world from the restored General Zod and return to his universe.

Even though we didn’t expect to see Alfred revealed in the new trailer, it fits into what we will be seeing. The new footage that appears is the perfect tonic for those of us still waiting to see the film itself. I have heard that the movie had shot two different endings. Although I won’t spoil them here, the original ending is the one I would personally like to see. However, the re-shot ending, if used, will tie in nicely with the new James Gunn DC Universe. By the same token, the original ending COULD fit with the new direction the DC Universe is heading in too. I guess we will have to wait and be surprised when the film opens to see which way they went.
